This role focuses on developing, progressing, and converting sales opportunities.
We are looking for commercially minded sales professionals who enjoy owning opportunities from first contact through to deal close, while building relationships that generate repeat revenue.
Industry experience is not essential. Full training is provided.
What matters is sales capability, commercial judgement, and follow-through.
The Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will:
Convert warm enquiries by responding quickly to buying signals
Own opportunities from first contact to purchase order
Re-engage dormant or previously lost opportunities
Develop new opportunities as market knowledge grows
Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat business
Prepare, issue, and follow up quotations with intent to close
Attend site visits where there is clear commercial value
Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and forecasts
This is not a purely reactive role. It requires ownership, judgement, and results.
What We’re Looking For
Sales-driven and commercially focused
Comfortable managing both inbound and proactive sales activity
Strong relationship-building skills
Confident progressing stalled or dropped conversations
Self-motivated with ownership of performance
Comfortable working mainly office-based
Requirements
Strong sales fundamentals (B2B or B2C)
Consistent follow-up and pipeline management
A proactive mindset focused on progressing opportunities
